The Scan-A-Log Operator working for Wyoming Casing Service, Inc. will work with customers/clients in the process of inspection of oilfield production tubing/casing for suspected defects. Computer knowledge and functions are used throughout the job process.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- A Scan-A-Log Operator for the corporation is responsible to make sure that all job operations are following safety, environmental safety and government directives.
- Cross training on Hydro Test equipment.
- Report any defects on truck to dispatch.
- Prepare trucks so they have all the necessary tools and supplies prior to heading out to location.
- Proper ticket completion and submittal.
- Perform any minor repairs, maintenance and calibration on scan unit.
- This position requires responsibility for all jobs up to and including timely completion, employee relations on the job site, follow through to both the company we are contracted to as well as this corporation.
- They must coordinate with DOT, Safety and Human Resources to ensure that all parties are aware of any and all issues that may arise with an employee, jobsite or fleet vehicle.
- Work directly with Safety and DOT in regards to on the job accidents that require investigation and recording.
- Any and all tasks assigned by Management.
